UK Fuel Cell Development and Deployment Roadmap
The
UK Fuel Cell Development and Deployment Roadmap, published in
2005, provides a comprehensive schedule of actions to address the challenges to
the development and deployment of fuel cells in the UK. Consultation and
detailed discussions with key stakeholders whose future involvement will make a
difference to the industry were important components in building the Roadmap.
A total of 48 discrete challenges were identified. These fell into five main
groups:
- Regulation and policy
- Market development
- Education, training and awareness
- Technology development – industry
- Technology development – research community
Five key recommendations emerged:
