HaRI project: West Beacon Farm, Beacon Energy and CREST Loughborough University
The HaRI project demonstrates of the concept of a hydrogen economy in miniature. By November 2003, the major components will be installed and an investigation into the practicality of running this type of system in the field will begin. The study is aimed at maximising the efficiency, reliability and operational life of the system and its components under these conditions of operation. The models derived in this project will be used in designing and operating future real-world applications as the market for this technology grows in the areas of both grid supply and stand-alone systems.
